Shattuck St. Mary’s Introduces New Brand Identity: Where Goals Lead

Shattuck St. Mary’s School in Faribault, Minnesota has introduced a refreshed brand identity, including updated school and athletic logos and a new tagline: Where Goals Lead.

This marks the School’s first comprehensive branding update in more than a decade and reflects both its historic legacy and its forward-looking vision for the future.

As part of the global Shattuck St. Mary’s community, Shattuck St. Mary’s Vietnam is proud to share this important milestone, which strengthens the connection between our campus in Vietnam and the School’s long-standing tradition of excellence in the United States.

Honoring History, Moving Forward

The new identity was developed to bring greater clarity, consistency, and confidence to how Shattuck St. Mary’s presents its story across academics, athletics, arts, student life, and community engagement.

A central symbol in the updated school logo is the fleur-de-lis, which honors St. Mary’s Hall, the historic girls’ school established in the 1860s alongside Shattuck School. The symbol also reflects its connection to the City of Faribault, where Shattuck St. Mary’s was founded.

The inclusion of 1858 in the school crest reinforces the School’s deep heritage and enduring commitment to educational excellence.

The refreshed athletic logo also aligns with the new visual identity while preserving the spirit, pride, and legacy of Shattuck St. Mary’s athletics and the Sabres tradition.

Where Goals Lead

The new tagline, Where Goals Lead, captures the spirit of Shattuck St. Mary’s: a school community where students are encouraged to pursue meaningful goals, grow with purpose, and develop the character and confidence needed for the future.

For Shattuck St. Mary’s Vietnam, this message strongly reflects our own mission: to provide a structured American-style learning environment where students develop independence, critical thinking, personal responsibility, and global readiness.

A Shared Identity Across Campuses

The branding update was shaped through input from students, faculty, staff, alumni, and families, ensuring that the final identity reflects the values and experiences shared across generations of the Shattuck St. Mary’s community.

The new branding will be introduced in phases across Shattuck St. Mary’s website, social media, campus signage, and marketing materials through the rest of the 2025-2026 academic year, with full implementation expected at the start of the 2026-2027 academic year.
