Shattuck-St. Mary’s International School Vietnam Officially Has Establishment License

Shattuck-St. Mary’s International School Vietnam (SSM Vietnam) is pleased to announce that Shattuck-St. Mary’s International Primary, Lower Secondary, and Upper Secondary School Vietnam has officially been established under Decision No. 1623/QĐ-UBND dated April 22, 2026, issued by the Hai Phong People’s Committee. This is an important milestone in the school’s development journey and marks a new step forward in realizing a U.S.-oriented international education environment in Hai Phong.

SSM Vietnam is being developed with an academic direction closely connected to the Shattuck-St. Mary’s system in Minnesota, USA. The school aims to implement an American-standard curriculum delivered in English, within a learning environment that emphasizes student initiative, classroom interaction, critical thinking, and the holistic development of each individual.

Alongside its academic vision, SSM Vietnam has invested in an integrated system of facilities to support learning, athletics, the arts, and student life. The campus includes an indoor swimming pool, two indoor basketball courts, a golf driving range, tennis courts, a black-box theater, an auditorium, and many other supporting spaces. These facilities provide an essential foundation for building an environment where students not only acquire knowledge, but are also encouraged to explore their abilities, develop physically, and strengthen their life skills.
