At Shattuck-St. Mary’s International School Vietnam (SSM Vietnam), we believe that fencing is not only a sport but also an art of focus, discipline, and strategic thinking. Fencing Center of Excellence is one of the COEs we are planning to open.

Our Fencing Center of Excellence is designed to holistically develop students’ athletic abilities and intellectual growth, preparing them to become outstanding future leaders.

Fencing Disciplines in Training and Competition

Our training program includes three main fencing disciplines:

• Sabre: Emphasizes speed and reflexes, ideal for dynamic and decisive students.
• Foil: Focuses on technical skills and tactics, helping to develop logical thinking and precision.
• Épée: Requires patience and strategic planning, training students in analytical and decision-making skills.

 

Students will be guided through suitable disciplines for both learning and competition, enabling them to fully develop their potential and discover their strengths.

SSM Vietnam has partnered with a coach from the Vietnam National Fencing Team to bring this unique and exciting sport to students in Hai Phong.

Chúng tôi trang bị khu vực rèn luyện thể lực và khu vực phục hồi nhằm hỗ trợ học sinh duy trì thể trạng tối ưu trong quá trình tập luyện và thi đấu.
