We Did It – Shattuck-St. Mary’s International School Vietnam Has Officially Opened!

Just a few weeks ago, the big question on everyone’s mind was:
“Will the school really open on time?” 🫣
It was a race against the clock, with every chair, lightbulb, and whiteboard symbolizing a milestone in our mission. But through tireless effort, unwavering belief, and the incredible support of our community — we did it! 🎉😎🧡🐅🧡😎🎉
On August 15, 2025, we proudly opened the doors of Shattuck-St. Mary’s International School Vietnam in Hai Phong, marking the beginning of a new chapter for American education in Vietnam.

We know that founding a new school is never easy — and choosing to be among the first families in that journey is even more courageous. Our heartfelt thanks go to our founding families, who took a leap of faith with us. You believed in the vision of a school that combines academic excellence, holistic development, and global opportunities — and because of you, that vision is now a vibrant reality.
The first days were filled with laughter, learning, and a few happy tears. Classrooms are coming alive with curiosity. Hallways echo with students’ voices. Our SABER spirit is growing stronger every day.

We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished so far — but we’re not stopping here. We know there are still many areas to improve, many spaces to complete, and many ideas to bring to life. But we’re excited to grow with our students, parents, teachers, and staff — together.
Your feedback, involvement, and encouragement fuel our daily work. Every small improvement we make is a shared success — and every big milestone is thanks to you.
