Shattuck–St. Mary’s USA STEM Exploration Camp

Each summer, our founding campus in Faribault, Minnesota (USA) welcomes rising 7th–9th grade students from around the world for an unforgettable STEM Exploration Camp: a hands-on journey through science, technology, engineering, and medicine.

This immersive program gives young innovators the chance to live and learn on the historic Shattuck–St. Mary’s campus, working side-by-side with a medical doctor, professional engineers, a pilot, and digital innovation specialists. Campers take part in BioScience labs, flight simulation, robotics, and creative design projects in state-of-the-art facilities to build practical skills, global awareness, and lifelong friendships.

Program Highlights

BioScience
Explore human biology, microbiology, and DNA with SSM faculty, including a medical doctor and PhD biologist. Students take on real-world medical challenges and ethical discussions while learning advanced lab techniques.

Engineering & Robotics
Design, build, and test creative solutions through hands-on engineering projects. In week two, campers code and program robots and drones to complete missions.

Flight Simulation
Train like a pilot in SSM’s professional-grade simulators. Plan flight routes, log simulator hours, and experience the excitement of virtual cross-country flights.

Innovation Lab
Create in the renowned weCreate® Center, where students experiment with coding, 3D printing, and app prototyping to bring ideas from concept to reality.

Team-Building & Recreation
Beyond academics, campers enjoy outdoor activities, cultural excursions, and community-building experiences that broaden their perspectives and strengthen friendships.

Capstone Showcase
Families are invited to the STEM Expo, where students present their projects, share discoveries, and celebrate their achievements.
