SSM Vietnam Students Shine on the International Stage!

We are proud to celebrate an outstanding achievement by three of our Grade 9 students — Nguyen Dang Anh Khoi, Nguyen Dinh Nghia (Charles), and Pham Gia Han (Jett) — who represented Vietnam in a prestigious international academic competition this summer in Seoul, South Korea.

Competing in the Junior Division—the most competitive category with 200 teams—our students earned an impressive Top 14 finish out of 200 teams. The competition hosted over 1,100 students from 30+ countries across Asia, Europe, North America, and Africa, bringing together the brightest young minds from every continent.

💫 Student Highlights:

  • Khoi received an Individual Champion Scholar trophy, ranking among the Top 15 globally.

  • Jett placed in the Top 35 out of 600 students in the Junior category.

  • As a team, our students brought home over 40 medals, including 13 Gold 🥇 and 2 Silver 🥈.

Beyond the awards, our students returned with deep friendships, unforgettable experiences, and renewed confidence as they prepare to embark on their next chapter.

✨ At Shattuck-St. Mary’s International School Vietnam, we are committed to nurturing global citizens who rise to challenges with excellence, humility, and heart. We are incredibly proud of our students for representing both Vietnam and SSM Vietnam with distinction.

Congratulations to our SABER scholars!
